How I’ve been spending my time

It has been brought to my attention that I really don’t update this site very much which apparently makes people slightly sad. So, here you go Izulien loving kids. I have an update for you.

I’ve not really been doing too much lately. I did get to spend a day or so with my friend Charaya on her Spring Break. We went to the mall and a few other stores to get her a new camera! It was pretty fun and we ended up only buying Girl Scout cookies and chineese food when we were at the mall but it was still amusing.

After the mall we watched a Alice in Wonderland in Disney Digital 3D. The movie wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t super awesome either. Definately one of those movies that is made by the company you watch it with. If you are unlucky and don’t have a fun-loving Charaya in your life you may not like the movie very much.

Note: All the pictures above were taken with the new camera!

I also went to “The Top of the World” with Fluffy and Charaya (the last three photos above are from there). It’s basically a lookout point here in TN that lets you see a few different cities. It was pretty nifty. Poor Charaya is afraid of heights but she wanted to go anyway. She just clung to the middle of the tower and had to be pulled away when we were doing pictures :P

Outside of fun times with Charaya I’ve been playing on the 360 a bit more. Mainly with Saints Row 2 because well… it is an awesome game and my roomie purchased the game from a friend. This game is very adictive so please play at your own risk. If you haven’t ever heard of it and you like GTA games you will definately like this one. Check out both Saints Row and Saints Row 2 if you can.

That is all. Hope you enjoyed the update.

Knitting Fun

I’ve recently found out how to knit.  Well.. at least I can do some basic stitches now and I have some yarn and some needles!!  I have to make my Mom a scarf since I said I would.  I am also going to have to make one for my sister and I’d like to also make one for my Kat since she made me one.

Above I have two pictures, the first is from my first knitting session with Charaya.  The second is the bundles (skeins) of yarn I now have.

Sarah, you should let me know if the multi-colored one is good enough color to use for your scarf…

New Years Weekend!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my friend Charaya’s new apartment and for a nice new years party.  We had party hats, balloons, blow out thingies, sparkling grape juice and music!  The only other thing you need to have a good party is friends, since we are all conveniently friends so we were set!

A few hours before midnight I got a super awesome surprise too!  Kat and Charaya worked together really well to sneakily get Kat to Cookeville for new years and surprise me!  It was quite amazing and I was speechless when stepped through the front door.   I’m pretty proud of myself for saying “hey” but apparently that wasn’t super appreciated, who would have guessed?

Anywho, I ended up staying in Cookeville for the weekend and I think everyone involved had a pretty awesome time.  We even managed to get a few photos on Charaya’s camera and on our phones.  I’ll toss a few on here for your viewing pleasure!
