Just Another Waste of Space

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my friend Charaya’s new apartment and for a nice new years party.  We had party hats, balloons, blow out thingies, sparkling grape juice and music!  The only other thing you need to have a good party is friends, since we are all conveniently friends so we were set!

A few hours before midnight I got a super awesome surprise too!  Kat and Charaya worked together really well to sneakily get Kat to Cookeville for new years and surprise me!  It was quite amazing and I was speechless when stepped through the front door.   I’m pretty proud of myself for saying “hey” but apparently that wasn’t super appreciated, who would have guessed?

Anywho, I ended up staying in Cookeville for the weekend and I think everyone involved had a pretty awesome time.  We even managed to get a few photos on Charaya’s camera and on our phones.  I’ll toss a few on here for your viewing pleasure!

So a couple of friends got married Saturday. Got up a bit earlier than normal and started to get ready. Found out that the shirt I was going to wear (regular white button-up) was missing all but the top button somehow. This made me have to hit the stores and get a new shirt, which worked out pretty well I guess.

After getting the new shirt (and some new shorts woot!) I headed over to Mom’s so we could make it out to the Dam where the wedding was being held. Had a quick convo there and switched form jeans to slacks and tossed on the new shirt then headed out.

We followed the instruction given by my sister to get there. Everything worked out only one mistake and it was in the actual instructions but luckily we knew the dam was left not right so all worked out.

Wedding went off pretty well everyone looked nice and all that good stuff. Got to see a few people I don’t really get to see much. Downside was it was hot…. like really hot.  Upside had food, entertainment and drinks!

The wedding went off pretty well.  I think most of the people that went enjoyed themself.

Today is EarthHour day!

This is the day where you turn your lights off for one hour tonight. That’s it, a simple switch. Curious to see how well this works outside of Australia.

8:30PM local time, wherever you live on planet earth. Saturday 28 March 2009 is Earth Hour. Turn out the lights yo!

This is a bit late I know but is still pretty funny. A friend of mine had a small gathering to bring in the new year of 2009. Only four or five people where there, and of course there was drinking and random fun going on all night. One of the guests ended up getting pretty drunk and puked on the chair he was sleeping in. So far this seems like a normal drinking party gone wrong. What makes this story unique is how they decided to clean the chair.

Since this is the host’s favorite chairs, which she has had for many a year I might add, it was very important to clean it and clean it fast. The first thing that comes to mind is the car wash.
